It’s probably not hard for Jon Hamm to get cast. But in the case of his new movie, Friends with Kids, he had an even better shot.
Just because Friends with Kids arrives in theaters Friday doesn’t mean that star Adam Scott thinks he was deserving of leading-man status in director Jennifer Westfeldt’s film, which is centered around a group of thirty-something couples who decide to have children and then date other people.
The show’s creators/writers Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz pledged that they will continually try to “keep surprising people…and always push the show forward” through the rest of the first season.

While he’ll always be best known as Hawkeye from the eleven-season run of TV’s M*A*S*H, Alan Alda has been appearing in films since the 1960s, and next appears in Wanderlust, starring Paul Rudd and Jennifer Aniston as a couple who moves to a free-love commune.
