NBC Shows Fall Review
There has already been quite a bit of controversy surrounding Andrew Rannells’ new show, The New Normal. Ryan Murphy’s (American Horror Story, Glee) NBC comedy is about a gay couple who decide to have a baby via a surrogate mother. A Utah syndicate already decided to ban the show from airing because of the content. So Rannells feels a certain responsibility to represent the show’s positive qualities.

The only problem with doing a television show about high school kids is that most only take four years to finish the curriculum. Already pushing it with a 29-year-old and a 25-year-old playing high school seniors, Glee creator Ryan Murphy announced that stars Cory Monteith, Lea Michele and Chris Colfer will leave the cast after graduating from twelfth grade at the end of the Fox hit’s third season.
