Watch the Acceptance Speeches from Julianne Moore, J.K. Simmons, Eddie Redmayne and Patricia Arquette

Of the four speeches from last nights Academy Awards acting categories, J.K. Simmons was my favorite. We’d heard him say some of the same things back when he won his SAG Award but the whole ‘call your parents’ moment really got me. Did I call my parents? No, but that’s because I’m a jackass. But it was still a lovely moment. Eddie Redmayne‘s was fun as well. That moment when he jumped up and down

Eddie Redmayne SAG Sawards Press Room

SAG Awards Press Room: Eddie Redmayne, Viola Davis, the Cast of ‘Birdman’ and More!

Here are a handful of videos from last night’s SAG Awards press room where the winners have just been awarded their Actor statue and are ushered backstage to a flurry or reporters vying to get their questions answered. You can tell most are still a bit dazed that they won so watching these videos is always fun. Check out Julianne Moore, Uza Aduba, William H. Macy, the casts of Downtown Abbey and Birdman, Julianne Moore,

Viola Davis SAG Awards

JK Simmons, Viola Davis, Julianne Moore! Watch All of the SAG Award Winners Speeches

The SAG Awards always have some of my favorite speeches from any of the awards shows and last night’s was no exception. The best speeches of the night, in my opinion, were from JK Simmons, Viola Davis and Julianne Moore, hands down. All three were funny, heartfelt and most of all, praising of the actors, from big to small, who helped in their win. That doesn’t take away from the other speeches, the above three

Michael Keaton Birdman

Michael Keaton On His Comeback: “I’m just getting started”

One of the best stories this Oscar season is the comeback of Michael Keaton. His stunning turn in Birdman not only had audiences cheering, it also had award show voters taking notice. He spoke about the excitement to The Wall Street Journal. “Yeah it is. You get recognized. It’s not as important as trying to cure Ebola or anything like that. I’m not being funny, I’m being dead serious,” he says. “But relatively speaking, it’s

bryan cranston emmy award speech

Watch: Bryan Cranston’s Emmy Award Speech: “I love to act. It is a passion of mine and I will do it until my last breath.”

The Emmy Awards weren’t the most exciting awards show this year but with Bryan Cranston winning for Outstanding Actor in a Drama for Breaking Bad, we at least got to hear one heck of a fantastic acceptance speech. “I was a kid who always looked for the shortcut,” he said. “I did happen to stumble upon finding a passion that created a seed and bloomed into something so wonderful for me. I love to act.

Check Out the Oscar Speeches from Lupita Nyong’o, Jared Leto, Cate Blanchett & Matthew McConaughey

Lupita Nyong’o. Jared Leto. Cate Blanchett. Matthew McConaughey. They had a night to remember, didn’t they? Each won Academy Awards last night for the excellent work and below are their speeches with a small portion of each transcribed. My favorite was from Lupita Nyong’o. Such joy and happiness. McConaughey’s was pretty terrific as well… giving the full-on McConaughey. Check the all out below!

Watch All of the SAG Awards Acceptance Speeches!

Here are all of the acceptance speeches from last nights Screen Actor Guild Awards. I had a show last night so if you’re like me, this was the first time you were able to watch the speeches. I honestly had no idea they were on last night… that’s because I’m well-informed! I thought they were all pretty terrific but my favorites were from Ty Burrell and Matthew McConaughey. Check them all out below!

Merritt Weaver on Her Famously Short Emmys Speech: “I was just really surprised, so I hadn’t prepared anything”

Though I am obviously very interested in the entertainment industry, I really have no interest in watching award shows.  They’re simply too long and drawn out, and too focused on sappy speeches and often badly-written jokes for my taste.  I’m not into fashion either, so the whole pageantry parade is lost on me.  Of course, I’m interested in seeing who won what awards, but that’s something I can easily look up seconds after each one

Watch: The Cast of ‘Breaking Bad’ Has the Best Emmy ‘Thank You’ Cam Ever

Breaking Bad won the Emmy for Outstanding Drama series last night and it was absolutely deserved. I have no idea why Bryan Cranston didn’t win as Best Actor in a Drama Series though. He’s perfect and while the other actors in the category were very, very good, Cranston is on another level this year. After the win, the cast and creators walked backstage to the Emmy ‘Thank You’ cam and while it starts off relatively
