WonderCon: ‘Dawn of the Planet of the Apes’ Press Conference with Gary Oldman & Andy Serkis

Gary Oldman, Keri Russell, Andy Serkis and Director Matt Reeves were at WonderCon to talk about the upcoming, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes. I loved the first one and can’t wait for this to come out. Serkis is terrific in everything and to watch him go to e-to-toe with Oldman will be a blast.

In the sequel, the genetically evolved apes – led by Caesar (Serkis) – is threatened by a band of human survivors (Oldman is one of them). They reach a fragile peace, but it proves short-lived, as both sides are brought to the brink of a war that will determine who will emerge as Earth’s dominant species.

In the video, they talk about filming in New Orleans (“It smells of stale beer and vomit,” says Oldman), motion capture, the film and more.
