Calvary comes out on Blu-ray and DVD today. If you didn’t get a chance to see it when it was making festival rounds or when it was in limited release, seek it out. The drama stars Brendan Gleeson as a priest who is troubled by a variety of tumultuous issues within the people of congregation, including the fact that someone has threatened to murder him.

In the above conversation with the Screen Actors Guild Foundation, moderated by Jenelle Riley of Variety, Gleeson speaks about his role in the film and how the film’s content affected him as an actor.

And if you’re interested, here’s the screenplay.
