Aziz Ansari on Filming Car Chases: “I don’t know how much I really bring to the table besides different variations on going, ‘Aaaargh! Look out for that truck!’”

In a recent interview with USA Today, 30 Minutes or Less’ Aziz Ansari talked about filming action sequences for the upcoming action/comedy flick, which hit theaters last Friday, August 12.
“I wasn’t in The Transporter or anything, so I haven’t had an opportunity to do car-chase scenes or anything like that. As a comedy actor, you don’t necessarily anticipate doing scenes where you’re robbing a bank or fighting people,” the 28-year-old comedian joked. “We did one tiny car chase, and it took a week. Fast Five I think took 25 years to film. They shot that movie when Vin Diesel was 6 years old, and he grew into the role. They just used CGI stuff to make him look older.”
Ansari, who stars alongside Jesse Eisenberg and Danny McBride in 30 Minutes, is best known as government employee Tom Haverford on hit NBC comedy Parks and Recreation.
