In this audition clip, you can see that Pratt already had his fast-talking Peter Quill character down and Bautista was equally prepared to play the no-nonsense Drax as Quill tries to convince Drax not to kill Gamora
Pratt then placed orange post-it notes around the set, out of shot. “Then,” he says, “it would catch my attention halfway through the scene, and it would affect me emotionally underneath.”
