Watch: SAG Conversations with Richard Jenkins

Happy birthday, Richard Jenkins! The Oscar-nominated actor turns 73 years old today.

Though many people recognize Jenkins for his hilarious performance in the 2008 comedy Step Brothers, Jenkins has received his greatest acclaim for his dramatic performances in films like The Visitor (2007), Burn After Reading (2008), The Shape of Water (2017), and his Emmy Award-winning performance in HBO’s Olive Kitteridge.

In late 2017, Jenkins participated in a SAG-AFTRA Conversation with Jenelle Riley of Variety covering his entire career. In particular, Jenkins speaks extensively about finding his niche as a character actor, playing a wide range of characters for a number of acclaimed directors.
