Happy birthday, Patricia Clarkson! The two-time Emmy Award winning and Oscar-nominated actress turns 60 years old today. Though Clarkson has been a professional actress on television and film since the mid-1980s, she has received some of the greatest acclaim in her career for her performance as Adora Crellin on the HBO miniseries Sharp Objects. Clarkson won a Golden Globe for the role for Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role in a Series, Limited Series or Motion Picture Made for Television and was also nominated for an Emmy Award.

Earlier this year, Clarkson participated in a conversation presented by the SAG-AFTRA Foundation about her career, though focusing on portraying Crellin on Sharp Objects in particular. The event was moderated by Mara Webster, who is the SAG AFTRA Foundation Program Manager.
