Watch: Krysten Ritter Discusses Her Mentor Relationship with Her Acting Teacher

Happy birthday, Krysten Ritter! The Jessica Jones star turns 35 years-old today.

In this video, Ritter speaks with Sam Jones of offCamera about her relationship with acting teacher Marjorie Ballentine, with whom Ritter actually lived with for a time when she moved from New York City to Los Angeles in 2007.

Ritter speaks about her relationship with Ballentine and how her support helped her survive in Los Angeles and how it has made her a better actress. She describes Ballentine as a mentor and credits her for being “fierce.”
