Crazy Email: “I am looking forward to meeting Will Smith. If you get in touch with him before me let him know I would like to play the lead in his next production”

I get a lot of strange email’s sent to me.

Most are from someone trying to get me to introduce them to people I’ve interviewed, asking me to put them in a TV show or telling me how they deserve to be famous. Yeah, they usually write “famous.”

Unless they’re a child, I never write them back. Partly I’m afraid they might find out where I live and shoot me if I don’t “help them” and partly because it’s just not worth the time to deal with numbskulls.

But, I’ve decided that I get enough of these “Crazy Emails” as I like to call them, that I’m going to start posting them. For your enjoyment, of course.

The following email is from “Phyllis.” I’ve changed the name not because like I said above, I don’t want to get shot. She sent this to me around the time Will Smith was filming Men In Black 3 in New York.

Hello my name is Phyllis XXXXXXXXX nickname (Sweet P) will be in Manhattan May 24th 2011 around noon coming from Bermuda.  You can reach me at this number XXX-XXX-XXXX or XXX-XXX-XXXX cell number.

I am looking forward to meeting Will Smith. If you get in touch with him before me let him know I would like to play the lead in his next production. Hoping to hear back from you soon.

    Phyllis

As you can imagine, I didn’t answer her simply because when Will Smith and I get together, we never talk shop.

“Phyllis” didn’t stop at one email though, she wrote another appealing my my spiritual nature.

I want to take a risk so that is why I am coming to Manhattan next week to see Will Smith planning to take part is his new movie. Dreams come true in God’s time.  Now is my time.

I actually Googled “Phyllis” to see if she ever did show up on the set of MIB and thankfully, there was nothing reported.

    Stay tuned for more…

Seriously who are these people?! BTW, you think you could hook me up with Cindy Crawford to fulfill a lifelong obsession? Maybe Facebook isn’t the right place to put that out there so I will just copy it to email. Oh wait…

I did, but it seems she deleted everyone named “Ryan” off her Facebook a few months back. Not sure what happened there?
