Chris Messina on Acting in Television: “You have to be open to change and surprises”

While Chris Messina has been busy this season with the coupling of Mindy and Danny on The Mindy Project, there’s one other show fans can still catch him on, The Newsroom. You've definitely seen Chris Messina before, even if you don't recognize his name. In 2012 alone he appeared on film in Argo, Ruby Sparks, The Giant Mechanical Man and Celeste & Jesse Forever and on television in regular roles in The Mindy Project, The Newsroom and Damages. He also stars in Fairhaven, an indie film he also co-wrote and executive produced, which is now in limited release.

Biography: Chris Messina

Chris Messina can most recently be seen starring in Lee Kirk’s directorial debut, The Giant Mechanical Man, opposite Jenna Fischer, who also produced the film. He also co-wrote and starred in the upcoming Fairhaven, opposite Sarah Paulson. Both films premiered at the 2012 Tribeca Film Fesival to rave reviews.
