Watch: SAG Conversations with Christopher Meloni

Christopher Meloni is one of those actors that pops up in movies when you don’t expect him to. Look, there he is in 12 Monkeys! Oh, and there he is in Man of Steel! And there he is in Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle! He also stars alongside Bruce Willis in Marauders, which is being released today. Didn’t expect to see him in that one? That’s pretty much par for the course for Meloni, who has starred in dozens of films and several televisions shows, including Oz and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. And I haven’t even mentioned one of his most popular roles yet — the crazy chef in Wet Hot American Summer.

In this conversation presented by the SAG-AFTRA Foundation and moderated by Jenelle Riley of Variety, Meloni talks about his entire career working in both drama and comedy. It’s a fascinating discussion about the career of a true journeyman actor at work.
