Watch: SAG Conversations with Rachel Weisz

Happy birthday, Rachel Weisz! The Academy Award-winning actress turns 50 years old today.

Weisz won the Academy Award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role for 2005’s The Constant Gardener, and she was nominated in the same category again for 2018’s The Favourite.  In between, Weisz appeared in films like Definitely, Maybe (2008), The Lovely Bones (2009), The Bourne Legacy (2012), and Oz the Great and Powerful (2013). She also made her Broadway debut alongside husband Daniel Craig in the 2013 production of Harold Pinter’s Betrayal. As one can see, Weisz has had a very successful career.

In January 2019, Weisz participated in Conversations presented by SAG-AFTRA Foundation and moderated by SAG-AFTRA’s Mara Webster. Weisz spoke about her career at length, including her roles on both screen and stage.
