Watch: SAG Conversations with Greta Gerwig

Happy birthday, Greta Gerwig! The Lady Bird writer-director turns 35 years old today. Gerwig became just the fifth woman in history to be nominated for the Academy Award for Best Director for her work on Lady Bird.

Earlier this year Gerwig participated in an hour-long SAG-AFTRA Foundation Conversation moderated by Sara Vilkomerson of Entertainment Weekly about her work on the film and how being an actor has informed her work as a writer/director.
