24 Hour Plays Returns to Broadway on November 12

A long-running New York City fall theater tradition since the 1990s, 24 Hour Plays on Broadway involves professional actors and members of the Urban Arts Partnership collaborating answer the challenge of the title: they must create six ten-minute plays in the span of twenty-four hours and then perform them for a live audience.

The New York Post exclusively revealed the talent involved in this year’s event:

  • Leslie Bibb
  • Emmanuelle Chriqui
  • Billy Crudup
  • Brooklyn Decker
  • Rachel Dratch
  • America Ferrera
  • Seth Green
  • Carla Gugino
  • Anthony Mackie
  • Zosia Mamet
  • Jack McBrayer
  • Kathy Najimy
  • Diane Neal
  • Rosie Perez
  • Sam Rockwell
  • Liev Schreiber
  • Brooke Shields
  • Gabourey Sidibe
  • Fisher Stevens
  • Amber Tamblyn
  • Michelle Trachtenberg

Sponsoring the event for its seventh year is Montblanc, which also sponsors the Young Writer’s Program which chooses a winner to co-write one of the six plays.  The show will go on (with many exhausted actors!) on November 12th at 8:00 pm at the American Airlines Theater.
