Tonight is the 73rd Annual Tony Awards in New York, and one of the musicals up for Best Musical (as well as five other Tony Awards) is The Prom, a musical about four has-been Broadway actors who visit a conservative town when two lesbian students are not allowed to attend a high school prom together in an attempt to drum up positive publicity for their careers.
