Watch: Olivia Wilde Talks About ‘Meadowland’

Wilde speaks about starring such a dramatically-intense film, how she has built her career, and the "worst pep talk" she ever got from her agent.

After premiering at this year’s Tribeca Film Festival, Meadowland had a very limited release in October followed by a VOD release. It’s a shame because star Olivia Wilde is really strong in the film — it has a rare 100% rating at Rotten Tomatoes. Wilde portrays a mother whose child goes missing and depicts how she handles her grief. Also starring in the film are Luke Wilson, Giovanni Ribisi, Elisabeth Moss, John Leguizamo, Kevin Corrigan, Merritt Weaver, and Juno Temple. Meadowland is now available on DVD.

In this conversation presented by the SAG-AFTRA Foundation and moderated by Stacey Wilson Hunt of New York magazine, Wilde speaks about starring such a dramatically-intense film, how she has built her career, and the “worst pep talk” she ever got from her agent.
