Watch: Neve Campbell’s ‘Scream’ Screen Test

Happy birthday, Neve Campbell! (And happy early Halloween!) The Party of Five and House of Cards star turns 43 today. To celebrate, here’s Campbell’s screen test from one of her most famous roles.

No, not Wild Things, the other one — Scream! Campbell appeared in all four films of the very successful horror franchise, though she appears the most in the 1996 original.

Campbell spends much of the clip talking on the phone to a much-less scary sounding killer. In the second half, she speaks with Billy Loomis. Interestingly enough, in this screen test actor Justin Whalin (best known for playing Jimmy Olsen on Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman) appears as Billy instead of Skeet Ulrich, who played Billy in the film. Whalin was one of the contenders for the role, so this screen test shows what could have been.
