Tony Hale on Shooting HBO’s ‘Veep’

I’ve only seen the first episode (but plan to catch up) but what I saw, I really liked.

In this interview from Vulture, Hale he talked briefly about the process the cast and Creator/Writer/Director went through to create the show.

“We rehearse for five to six weeks before we start shooting, so the script just starts one way, and then you dive in and play with it and help it morph into what it becomes,” he said. “And we establish the relationships with these characters, so the lines sound organic.”
