Kathy Bates to Play Charlie Sheen’s Ghost on ‘Two and a Half Men’

Charlie Sheen is not going to like the latest casting news for his former CBS show Two and a Half Men

Creator Chuck Lorre, who shared many a battle with troublemaker Sheen, announced that Sheen’s character, Charlie Harper, will come back to the show as a ghost—played by Kathy Bates

According to Yahoo! News, Bates will guest-star on an episode set to air April 30, in which Jon Cryer’s character, Alan Harper, has a minor heart attack and is visited by Harper’s ghost.

It’s an interesting choice considering the Harry’s Law star is female and significantly older than Sheen.

Sheen’s character was killed off on the season premiere that aired last fall after the actor fell off the rails, and made the set an unpredictable place to work.  He was replaced by Ashton Kutcher, who plays Walden Schmidt.

Guess Sheen will not be saying “Winning” when he hears this.
