"Television has decided that it will actually try to, as much as possible, make the world that it creates look like what the world actually looks like" - Joe Morton
Directed with confidence by Washington, FENCES is a pure joy to watch with two dynamite actors in the prime of their careers.
"You know when you’re not getting it right, you know when you’re coasting." - Viola Davis
"Learn what you are as an artist, what your brand is and what you really want. Instead of letting the industry dictate it for you." - Chris Chalk

The SAG Awards always have some of my favorite speeches from any of the awards shows and last night’s was no exception. The best speeches of the night, in my opinion, were from JK Simmons, Viola Davis and Julianne Moore, hands down. All three were funny, heartfelt and most of all, praising of the actors, from big to small, who helped in their win. That doesn’t take away from the other speeches, the above three just made me appreciate their win even more. Which was your favorite? Check out all of the acceptance speeches below! You could say Viola Davis isn't letting all the praise and awards from her acclaimed role in The Help get to her. After all, she has a 19-month old daughter.
Finding out that you've been nominated for an acting award in the same category as Glenn Close and Meryl Streep must be like finding out you're running the 100 meter dash against the gold medal and the silver medal winners of that event at the last Olympics.
You can see Fassbender do his Quentin Tarantino impression, Theron do a South African accent and Clooney will make you laugh.
The video is an hour long and it's just great to watch (or listen to). They talk about their careers, getting bad reviews, how they got their start and so much more. So good!
