WonderCon: Bill Paxton Talks ‘Edge of Tomorrow’, Working with Tom Cruise and More! (video)

Bill Paxton came to WonderCon to talk-up his new film, Edge of Tomorrow. They showed some clips from the Doug Liman directed film and the more I see, the more I think I”m going to like it.

The film, which stars Tom Cruise, Emily Blunt and Paxton, is about a soldier fighting in a war with aliens who finds himself caught in a time loop of his last day in the battle. Kind of like the sci-fi version of Groundhog Day it looks like.

Paxton was better than I could have imagined on the panel. He talks about the film, working with Cruise, how getting a call from James Cameron is like getting a call from Batman and more. And for a bonus, he even recites some of his famous lines from Weird Science and Aliens and more!

BTW, I shot the video from the side of the Anaheim Convention Center so that’s why it’s all slanted. And, as you’ll see, I suffer from shaky-cam syndrome.
