Though Josh Brolin can be currently seen in Inherent Vice (which goes into wide release today), Brolin has spent the better part of the last decade in one critically acclaimed film after another, including No Country For Old Men, Milk, and True Grit. He has worked with many of the most acclaimed directors of the last few decades, including the Coen brothers, Oliver Stone, Paul Thomas Anderson, and Gus Van Sant.

In a conversation for the Screen Actors Guild Foundation moderated by Gregory Elwood of Hitfix, Brolin spoke at length about his career, including the influence his father James Brolin had on his decision to become an actor, his early struggles as a stage actor, and what he enjoyed about some of his favorite roles, including playing George W.
