Emmy Winner Jim Parsons to make his Broadway debut in “The Normal Heart”

"The Normal Heart" tells the story of a group of friends who attempt to prevent doctors, politicians and the media from concealing the AIDS epidemic.

Jim Parsons, star and Emmy winner of “The Big Bang Theory”  is about to make his Broadway debut in “The Normal Heart,” a play directed by Joel Grey and co-starring “Pushing Daisies” star Lee Pace.

Official opening night is Wednesday, April 27 with the show scheduled to run 12 weeks at the John Golden Theater.
