Dominic Cooper Claims “Huge Package” on “Devil’s Double” Poster Isn’t His

Dominic Cooper, star of The Devil's Double, claims that the gold-painted torso and... let's say below the belt area... on the film's poster doesn't belong to the star him

Well that’s a headline for you.  We often here claims of photoshopping relating to actresses or female models on various magazine covers, but Dominic Cooper, star of The Devil’s Double, claims that the gold-painted torso and… let’s say below the belt area… on the film’s poster doesn’t belong to him according to Digital Spy

Cooper likes the poster — he says that “It’s brilliantly hideous, but it’s eye catching” — but contrary to appearances the body is not his, claiming, “There’s this bloke in the poster with a really hairy chest and a huge package and that’s certainly not me! But it is my head.”

Upon reviewing the poster, it’s easy to see how it was photoshopped since Cooper’s head could just be “placed” on it, but is it just me or is Cooper’s head slightly too small for the body?  Still, you got to give credit to Cooper for stepping up and admitting the body (along with the body hair and the “package”) aren’t his own.
Cooper plays two roles in The Devil’s Double, Iraqi royalty Uday Hussein and his body double lookalike, Latif Yahia.  Based on a true story, the film is adapted from Yahia’s own book about his experiences as Uday’s body double, in which he would appear as Uday whenever it was deemed that the possibility of violence made it necessary.  So it also appears that life imitates art, as Cooper has a “body double” out there somewhere, too!

The movie is currently in limited release in the United States.
