Aziz Ansari, star of NBC’s Parks and Recreation, knows that he has it good.

The comedian voices the character Squint in Ice Age: Continental Drift, a gig which he is quick to admit is a pretty easy one.  “Acting is a plum gig, and then animation is an even more plum gig,” he told The New York Times.  “I mean, compared to stand-up, the other main thing I do?  You have to write a whole new hour of material every time you tour.  With acting, I go to the set on Parks and Rec, and it’s just so much writing and refining, and they just hand me a script, and it’s like, Oh, these are hilarious jokes, I’ll just say them in a funny way, and we’re done.”

Ice Age: Continental Drift is in theaters now, and Parks and Recreation will be back on in the fall.
