Is Alexander Skarsgard Going To Be In “Fifty Shades of Grey”?

Is it true that Alexander Skarsgard is going to play Christian Grey in the Fifty Shades of Grey movie?  Well, nobody knows yet.

The True Blood hunk admitted that he’s drawn to darker projects, saying, “I need to talk to my shrink about that.  I don’t know what that is about.  What’s wrong with me?”

But he does note that there isn’t a script yet for the adaptations of the insanely popular book series.  “I haven’t read the books,” he told The Wall Street Journal.  “I know how tremendously successful they are and how people are obsessed, so of course I’m flattered if some people out there wants to see me do that.  But it’s difficult to say.  Step one is always read the script for me.  I get the script, I read it and then I feel something or I don’t.

“You either connect and you feel like this is a character that you want to spend a couple of months with or you don’t.  Or you feel like I’m going to learn something about myself in working on creating this character.  Or you’re not challenged by it.  Or you’re not intrigued.  So it’s so difficult to say before having read the script whether you are interested in it or not.”

So, that’s a maybe?
