Watch the Trailer for the New Broadway Musical ‘Once’

once-musicalOne of the things that I really tried to do when I was in New York back in December was to catch a performance of Once at the New York Theatre Workshop.

Didn’t happen. Every single show was sold out.

But, the good news is that they are bringing the new musical to the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre with preview performances starting on February 28th. The opening date is March 18.

I’ve heard so many wonderful things about this and the debut of this trailer does nothing to make me think it won’t be incredible.

Once is a musical adaptation of the 2007 Irish film starring Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova and featuring the Oscar-winning song Falling Slowly.

The stage version stars Steve Kazee and Cristin Milioti in the roles that Hansard and Irglova originated in the movie.
