Debra Winger To Make Her Broadway Debut Alongside Patti Lupone in David Mamet’s ‘The Anarchist’

Three-time Academy Award nominee Debra Winger is set to make her Broadway debut in the American premiere of The Anarchist a new play written and directed by David Mamet.

Three-time Academy Award nominee Debra Winger is set to make her Broadway debut in the American premiere of The Anarchist a new play written and directed by David Mamet.

Winger’s previous stage credits include How I Learned to Drive and Ivanov at the American Repertory Theater in Cambridge, Massachusetts and The Exonerated in New York.

Winger will star alongside previously announced two-time Tony Award winner Patti Lupone in this two-character play.
 
The Anarchist, which marks the sixth collaboration between producers Jeffrey Richards, Jerry Frankel and Mamet, will begin performances Tuesday, November 13th and open on Sunday, December 2nd at a Shubert Theatre to be announced.
