Watch: SAG Conversations with Rami Malek of ‘Mr. Robot’

Mr. Robot — one of the most acclaimed television dramas — ends its second season tonight. One of the reasons why the show is so successful is star Rami Malek, who plays Elliot Alderson. Alderson works in cybersecurity, but he becomes involved with an underground hacking group. Mr. Robot has been praised for its accuracy, which sets it apart from so many previous attempts to make computer hacking into a TV or film plot.

Last month, Malek — who was nominated for an Emmy for his performance on Mr. Robot — sat for a SAG-AFTRA Foundation Conversation moderated by fellow actor Zachary Quinto. In the video he discusses landing the role and how the success of the series has changed the way he acts and his career.
