In the video below, they talk about the best and worst piece of advice they been given about acting, the scariest moment they’ve had on set, personal sacrifices they’ve made, their most challenging auditions and if screenwriters are writing better roles for women.

Also in the video, Julia Roberts talks about what she learned from working with Meryl Streep and Amy Adams tells how she used to use auditions as acting class.

  1. So we’re expected to take Oprah seriously as an actress now?

    She is so outclassed by the five other women involved that she really has no business being involved in this roundtable, and especially should not be front-and-center in the photo.

    You know, Jerry Springer has done more acting than Oprah and nobody would ever ask him to be on an actor’s roundtable.

  2. I respect Oprah as an actress but yeah, there are other women who should have appeared on the roundtable before her. I thought she was fine in ‘The Butler’ but definitely not Oscar worthy. Where was Brie Larson? Or Cate Blanchett?
