Interview: Executive Producers/Writers Howard Gordon and David Wilcox on ‘Legends’ and Not Killing Sean Bean

The more I hear about Legends, the new TNT show starring Sean Bean, the more I can’t wait to check it out.

The show is about a guy named Martin Odum (Bean), a deep-cover operative who has an uncanny ability to transform himself into a different person for each job. But his true identity comes into question when a stranger suggests that Odum isn’t who he thinks he is. Ali Larter plays Crystal McGuire, an agent with who has a history with Bean’s Odum and Tina Marjorino plays Maggie Harris, an operative who works under Larter‘s McGuire. The show also stars Morris Chestnut.

David Wilcox and Howard Gordon, the executive producers and writers behind the show, were at Comic-Con to discuss the show, not killing series star Sean Bean and more!

Some highlights:

  • There’s a season long arc for the show that deals with the question, “Who am I?”
  • Sean Bean – who they both heap tons of praise – will not die. I repeat Sean Bean will not die in the series.

Legends premieres on August 13th at 9/8c on TNT
