Both How I Met Your Mother‘s Josh Radnor and Boardwalk Empire‘s Gretchen Mol will make their Broadway returns after more than a decade absence in Disgraced, written by novelist and screenwriter Ayad Akhtar. Disgraced won the 2013 Pulitzer Prize for Drama and was previously produced in Chicago, London, and off-Broadway at the LCT3 Theater at Lincoln Center. This production will be staged at the Lyceum Theatre.

Hari Dhillon, who starred in the London production to great acclaim, will be making his Broadway debut in Disgraced. It will also star Karen Pittman, who starred in the off-Broadway production. The production will be directed by Kimberly Senior, who previously directed the Chicago and off-Broadway productions. This will be her Broadway directing debut. Disgraced begins previews on September 27 and opens on October 23.
