San Diego Comic-Con: Daniel Radcliffe has a new film, Horns, coming out this October and to rev up the promotion, he and writer Joe Hill and director Alexandre Aja had a press conference at this weekend’s Comic Con.

Horns is about a young man named Ig Perrish (Radcliffe) who becomes a suspect for the violent rape and murder of his girlfriend, Merrin (Juno Temple). Waking up hungover, he finds horns starting to grow from his head and soon realizes their power drives people to confess their sins and give in to their most selfish and unspeakable impulses, which helps in his quest to find the real killer.

The quality of the video stinks (I have to get a new video recorder apparently) so I edited it down to the best, relevant stuff, acting-wise.

Here are the highlights:

  • What music he used to get into the character
  • Why he took on the role
  • Does he have a vision of where he wants to be in 25 years
  • The symbolism of the film

Best quote: “There is no acting required when you’re wearing a snake.”
