On-Set Injuries Force Kristin Chenoweth to Leave CBS’ ‘Good Wife’

Because of the injuries she sustained while filming The Good Wife last month, Kristin Chenoweth won’t be able to return to the show to finish out her planned story-arc.
“It is with deep regret to inform everyone that due to my injuries, I am unable to return to ‘The Good Wife’ at this time. Getting better slowly and thank you everyone for your concern,” she said in a statement.
She will appear in the season premiere, which airs on Sept. 30. There’s no word on how her absence will be addressed on the show, however.
On July 11th, the actress was hospitalized after getting hit on the head by some falling lighting equipment while on the show’s New York City set.
