Katie Holmes Returns to Broadway This Fall

Katie Holmes is returning to Broadway this fall in Theresa Rebeck’s new play, Dead Accountants. The show is a five character comedy, directed by three-time Tony Award winner Jack O’Brien.

She returns to Broadway after appearing in the 2008 production of All My Sons.

In the show, a guy named Jack returns home unexpectedly and throws his family into a frenzy and his sister Lorna needs answers. Is he coming home or running away? Where is his wife everyone hates? And how did he get all that money? The new comedy tackles the issues of corporate greed, small town values, and whether or not your family will always welcome you back…with no questions asked.

Holmes will play the role of Lorna. Additional casting for the four additional roles, designers, production dates, and ticket information will be announced shortly.

The play will open on Broadway this fall at the Music Box Theatre.
