“You can’t beat the black suit,” he shared.  “It’s such powerful, iconic imagery.  You put on the suit and the shades and it throws you into the mental space of the Men in Black.  It’s like a childhood fantasy – you know things that the other people don’t know and you’ve got the most important job in the world.  The seven-year-old boy in me comes running out when I put the black suit on.”

While fans saw the return of both regulars Smith and actor Tommy Lee Jones, actor Josh Brolin was also part of the cast this time around.  Worried that he may be initially cast as the third wheel to the agents, Brolin says he was relieved to find that his role was actually to play a younger version of Jones’ character, Agent K.  Not an easy task, Smith shared that the Brolin nailed the part perfectly.   “There’s a certain rapport or repartee that you’ll develop with an actor, and that becomes your timing, how you create.  Josh had studied Tommy so well that there wasn’t a single missed beat when Josh came in. It was almost the identical chemistry, which is very difficult to come by.”

Men in Black 3 is currently playing in theaters and has already grossed roughly $212 million worldwide since opening on May 25th.
