Broadway’s ‘Stick Fly’ to Close

Stick Fly, the hit Broadway play by Lydia R. Diamond and directed by Kenny Leon, will play its final performance

Stick Fly, the hit Broadway play by Lydia R. Diamond and directed by Kenny Leon, will play its final performance at Broadway’s Cort Theatre (138 W. 48th Street) on Sunday, February 26, 2012 after 24 previews and 92 regular performances.

The show stars Dulé Hill (Psych, The West Wing) as Spoon (Kent) LeVay, Mekhi Phifer (ER, 8 Mile) as Flip (Harold) LeVay, Tracie Thoms (Rent, Cold Case, The Devil Wears Prada) as Taylor, Tony Award-winner Ruben Santiago-Hudson (Seven Guitars, Lackawanna Blues) as Joe Levay, Rosie Benton (Les Liaisons Dangereuses, Accent on Youth) as Kimber and Condola Rashad (Ruined) as Cheryl.

The creative team also included Alicia Keys for original music.
