Changing Your Inner Dialogue

Do you ever feel like you just sleep-walked through an entire month? A year? Just going through the motions in life? Every moment in life is an opportunity to WAKE UP. When tragedies occur, like the earthquake in Japan, they awaken us from our slumber to the true miracle of just being alive.
We realize our lives are impermanent, precious, fleeting, blessed. We are awakened to how full our plate is, how much we can love, how fully we can create and contribute.
Sadly, it shouldn’t take a disaster to wake us up.
We let our minds run on auto-pilot so consistently that our self-dialogue becomes that of taking life for granted, complaining, beating ourselves up, focusing on misperceptions of what our minds tell us isn’t working. Our conditioned responses deaden us to the magic of what our lives truly can be on a daily basis.
Anthony Meindl is an award-winning writer, producer, director and actor whose first feature screenplay, THE WONDER GIRLS, was the Grand Prize Winning Feature Screenplay in the Slamdance Film Festival Screenplay Competition in 2007. His background in acting, training, and performance has afforded him the opportunity to create what has become a thriving artist community in Los Angeles.
