Holiday Posting

You may have noticed that I haven’t posted anything in several days. Well, there’s two reasons for that; one good one bad.

The bad is that my laptop died. I was lucky to be able to save all the data off the hard drive ((Thankfully!), so now I’m waiting for my new one to come in. I’m currently working off of a tiny, tiny netbook. If you’ve ever tried to type on one of these things, you’ll know that it’s not the easiest thing to do.

The second is that I’m currently in Maryland visiting family and freezing.

I’ll try and post as much as I can.

I have a lot of great things planned for the upcoming year and I really want to thank each and every one of you for visiting! And as always, if you have any questions regarding acting, your career, let me know!

With that, have a holiday!

It’s scary when I watch a video and the kids who are interviewed seem more articulate than you. Like this video of Georgie Henley (Lucy) & Will Poulter (Eustace) of the Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader.

Lucy and Eustace
They talk about the techniques that director Michael Apted used to help them bring their characters to life, working with green screen and how they’ve been fortunate to work with the cast and crew. “Everything I’ve learned about acting, I’ve learned working on Narnia,” says Henley.

Trailer: Terrence Malick’s, ‘Tree of Life’ starring Brad Pitt & Sean Penn

Tree-of-Life-posterTree of Life: From Terrence Malick, the acclaimed director of such classic films as Badlands, Days of Heaven and The Thin Red Line, The Tree of Life is the impressionistic story of a Midwestern family in the 1950′s. The film follows the life journey of the eldest son, Jack, through the innocence of childhood to his disillusioned adult years as he tries to reconcile a complicated relationship with his father (Brad Pitt). Jack (played as an adult by Sean Penn) finds himself a lost soul in the modern world, seeking answers to the origins and meaning of life while questioning the existence of faith. Through Malick’s signature imagery, we see how both brute nature and spiritual grace shape not only our lives as individuals and families, but all life. from trailers.apple.com

Recent MIT grad Matt Franklin (Topher Grace) should be working for a Fortune 500 company and starting his upward climb to full-fledged yuppie-hood. Instead, the directionless 23-year-old confounds family and friends by taking a part-time job behind the counter of a video store at the Sherman Oaks Galleria. But Matt’s silent protest against maturity comes to a screeching halt once his unrequited high school crush, Tori Frederking (Teresa Palmer), walks into the store. When she invites him to an epic, end-of-summer party, Matt thinks he finally might have a chance with the girl of his dreams. With his cynical twin sister Wendy (Anna Faris) and best friend Barry (Dan Fogler), Matt embarks on a once-in-a-lifetime evening.
