‘Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps’ Interviews
September 27, 2010 by Lance Carter
Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps landed in the top spot of the box office this weekend. The movie was ok (read my review here) and nowhere near as good as the original.
Here’s some good interviews with the cast. They’re interesting but if you want, skip to about the halfway point in all the videos and you can get to the meat of them.
Michael Douglas discusses how he keeps the audience guessing… Is Gordon Gekko a changed man, or isn’t he? Go to the 3 minute mark for the most interesting part of the interview
Shia LaBeouf reveals how he researched the high finance world of Wall Street to strengthen his characterization of Jacob Moore.
Carey Mulligan found director Oliver Stone a tough but inspiring collaborator while working on an emotionally trying role.
Josh Brolin reveals how he approached playing Bretton James by emphasizing the character’s confidence, arrogance and street smarts.
Frank Langella describes how his performance of a fading Wall Street giant was helped by Oliver Stone’s direction.
