NBC is watching you watching them

NBC has just released some facts about online viewing.

- Viewers are loyal. Once they start to watch a show they don’t abandon it. 94% of its visitors “always or usually” watch an entire episode on NBC’s streaming video player, NBC Rewind.

- Viewers are less likely to multi-task when watching an online program.

- 30% of online viewers “always or usually” watched with someone else.

- Viewers were more likely to watch shows on a desktop and watch in their office, den or living room. (Last year, NBC says visitors were more likely to be screening shows on laptops and in bedrooms)

- Viewers were most likely to visit Rewind to watch episodes they missed on TV.

All this information coming out and the AMPTP is still saying they are making no money.
