Ashley Jensen leaving "Ugly Betty"

For some reason, Ashley Jensen has asked to be released from her contract from the show and producers are planning to write her out toward the end of this season.

No one knows how her character is going to leave.

I swear…I still don’t understand how actors can leave cush gigs like this. She’s a series regular, lives in NYC and is making tons. Can someone please explain this?

Also…. apparently another character from the show is going to be killed off this season.
