December 10, 2008 by Lance Carter
Being from the DC area, I’ve know about Robert Prosky for ages. He got his start in the at Washington’s Arena Stage from there went to a hugely successful Broadway, Television and Film career. Playing every character under the sun… he was truly someone every actor could look up to.
From the Washington Post: Robert Prosky, 77, a character actor with hundreds of film, TV and stage credits whose roles included an avuncular sergeant on the NBC police drama “Hill Street Blues” and a desperate real estate salesman in David Mamet’s play “Glengarry Glen Ross,” has died.
