Melissa Leo, the veteran of the Baltimore drama ‘Homicide’ is getting Oscar buzz after her strong turn in ‘Frozen River’. And even if Leo doesn’t get an Oscar nod, the role of Ray Eddy in FrozenRiver has attracted the high degree of media coverage Leo has long deserved, which has already led to more varied and insistent work offers.
