Because of the writers strike cutting short this past spring’s pilot season, ABC delayed its development so that most of the network’s new primetime scripted series would go midseason. It’s like golfing for me, I can only joke at it or cheat,” the actor said in a recent call from Chateau Montelena in the northern end of Napa Valley. It’s the setting and main location for the movie “Bottle Shock,” opening today.

SAG’s national board stuck to its guns, voting late Thursday afternoon to tell its negotiating committee to continue spurning the deal — which mirrors terms of the DGA, WGA and AFTRA pacts. Although there were no “yes” votes to accept the pact, reps from New York and some of the regional branches abstained.

'Office' Actor Enters Plea in Drug Case

Craig Robinson, the actor best known for his role as Darryl Philbin on NBC’s “The Office” entered a “tentative guilty plea” on Wednesday in his drug case, TMZ reported.
Robinson, 36, entered the plea regarding possession of ecstasy, a felony. The other charges against him were dismissed, the Web site said.
